Educational institutes gear up for new-age skills

In the pre-disruption era, there were broadly two categories of skills required by industry — a band of specialized industry or domain knowledge, and a wide range of more traditional skills suited to a generalist work profile. This scenario has changed irrevocably. As per a WEF report, generalists have shrunk in demand and this trend will continue.
